Global Theft Barometer

THE GLOBAL RETAIL THEFT BAROMETER 2008

Research for The Global Retail Theft Barometer 2008 (GRTB) has now started. This is the largest survey in the world into retail shrinkage and crime and now covers 38 different countries including the UK, the US, Germany, France, Italy, India, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Australia, South Africa, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore. The full list of countries included can be seen below.

This is the second Global survey and the eighth International study, which started in 2001 and covered the countries of Western Europe. The GRTB, which is sponsored by Checkpoint Systems, Inc., is used by retail corporations across the world to evaluate trends and to benchmark themselves against other companies.

If you would like to take part in the study, download the questionnaire here.

Key Results of last year's survey can be found here.

We expect to publish the results in October 2008.
