THE GLOBAL RETAIL THEFT BAROMETER 2008
Research for The Global Retail Theft Barometer 2008 (GRTB)
has now started. This is the largest survey in the world into retail
shrinkage and crime and now covers 38 different countries including
the UK, the US, Germany, France, Italy, India, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina,
Spain, Australia, South Africa, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore.

This is the second Global survey and the eighth International
study, which started in 2001 and covered the countries of Western
Europe. The GRTB, which is sponsored by Checkpoint Systems, Inc.,
is used by retail corporations across the world to evaluate trends
and to benchmark themselves against other companies.
